Armeconombank and the Visa international payment system, summing up the results of their joint campaign, ceremonially presented the grand prize - an electric vehicle, BYD YUAN UP MY2024 Leading Edition - to the winning cardholder during a special event.
To participate in the promotion, Armeconombank offered its VISA cardholders the opportunity to make cashless purchases totaling AMD 50,000 or the equivalent in foreign currency from September 1 to October 31, 2025. Each transaction generated a unique code, which was sent to the cardholders. The winning codes were selected randomly on December 9 of this year during a live broadcast on Armeconombank’s Facebook page.
The event held on December 17 was attended by representatives of Visa and Armeconombank, the winners of the grand and additional prizes, as well as students who provided volunteer support within the framework of the campaign.
“During the joint campaign by Armeconombank and Visa, we tried, on the one hand, to present our services and payment tools, and on the other hand, to deliver pleasant surprises to our customers. Considering the unprecedentedly high number of transactions during the specified period, Armeconombank decided to award other prizes in addition to the main prize. We will continue to work toward satisfying our customers and making our products more accessible and convenient,” said Artyom Baghdasaryan, Head of the Customer Engagement and Product Development Division of Armeconombank, in his welcoming speech, thanking Visa partners for the joint campaign and their support.

The cardholder who won the electric vehicle, Mariam Balasanyan, was emotional yet very happy: “Even now, it’s hard to believe that I’m the one who won the electric car. The call I received from Armeconombank at the end of the workday was unexpected. A few days ago, it was my birthday, and this feels like a gift for my anniversary. I am extremely grateful to Armeconombank for this pleasant surprise.”
During the campaign, volunteers at branded pavilions installed at retail outlets presented customers with details of the promotion. As part of the event, they were also recognized, receiving certificates for providing volunteer support in promoting the campaign.
